Reward System

When I started training for my first sprint triathlon I set up the rewards system you see below. My goal was to control my spending so that I would not go on a shopping spree right away and buy all-things-fitness before I knew I would actually use them all. Well, I think my idea worked a little too much. I learned how to survive without a lot of fitness necessities and now here I am closing in on my first triathlon with just the bare minimums and an empty pocket book. (Planning a wedding will do that to ya, too!) But that’s alright.

I am not going to delete this page because I would like to eventually stock up on some fantastic fitness products in the next year as I continue on my quest to be a more, how-do-you-say, fitness-like person? Since I have not yet finished the triathlon I don’t qualify as any sort of a triathlete yet… but I do hope in the future I will be able to call myself a triathlete. And then I can really start rewarding myself on a regular basis with some of the goodies you see below.

Welcome to my fitness blog! Actually, it's more of a blog chronicling my on-again/off-again exercise habits. After being MIA around here for a year, I am back again to blog about my health/nutrition. And hopefully I'll have some exercise to discuss while I'm at it. :)
