(Sheepish Grin) Hello…

Hi guys :)

I have a new goal. The 1/2 marathon fell through. I’m sorry. I just don’t like running.

I’m going to shoot for the Giant Acorn Sprint Triathlon near my parents house on October 4th, 2008. I’m using this training plan. I’ve only got 10 weeks so I’m on week 3 already.

I met with a nutritionist this morning who put me on a diet plan. 1500-1600 calories a day and accountability. For free!

Awesome. :) I’ll be tracking workouts here and also on my Wii Fit. Hehe.

Here we go!

    It looks like you really have your goals in order, and you know what you want. That’s a good thing to be able to do. I’m just getting started myself, and although I have a general idea, I’m not always good at the details.

    Right now I’m beginning the 8 Week Program for Beginning Runners found at Runners Planet. Anyway good luck w/ your goals. ;-)

  3. Welcome back Little Liz! I’m excited to hear that you’re taking on another triathlon!

    I’m sure you’re going to do GREAT!

    I’ve been working with my Sister (http://shebaduhkitty.sweat365.com) to prepare for her first triathlon. She’s coming along great. I’ve sort of been “coaching” her, and I plan to “race” with her on the race to give her support along the way.

    My oldest daughter (8 years old) is also going to do a Kid’s Triathlon that same day and event… It’s a 75 yard swim, 2 mile bike, and half mile run. She’s really looking forward to it!
