While waiting for Sarah to show up this morning, I thought I’d hop on the treadmill and see what I could do to warm myself up. I started walking for 1/4 and then I upped the speed to 5.2 for a slow jog. I decided to jog for a mile, but during the second half of the mile the machine put me in automatic cool-down mode (since I said I was only going to be on the thing for 10 mins, oops) and I fought with the speed every 60 seconds, upping it back up to 5.2 until I finally just shut the machine off at 1mi. So I only jogged 3/4 mi… but oh well. I got warmed up for my cycle. And Sarah had arrived!
