A sick day

I have had a cold since I was in FL last week visiting family. Like I told Kate, I woke up on New Years Day feeling hungover even though I drank only one glass of wine (and two bottles of water) the night before.
I went to bed last night with my head cold in the worst shape it has been in. I woke up at about 2am, spitting, couching, and blowing… I was wide awake on the couch until about 5:30am when I finally fell back asleep sitting upright. (sigh)
I feel like crap! So… no workouts. I ate an apple yesterday and one for breakfast today. I have another one with me at lunch today. I know… you’re thinking “an apple?” But honestly, it’s the best thing I’ve eaten recently — which might be why I am so ill.
(sigh)
Anyway… at least today I can work on getting my training plan page updated. I may lift some weights tonight in the comfort of Tommy’s home. I have been flipping through Lift Weights to Lose Weight and did one of the workouts last week. I felt like I didn’t really accomplish anything… maybe I need heavier weights.
