Strength routine

This was hard! I read up a little about strength training yesterday and went to the gym with three things on my mind:

12-20 reps per set
2-3 sets per exercise
8-12 exercises

I had to lower the weight a few times on a few different machines. I wanted to ask for help to make sure I was doing the free-weights right (and I could have, I haven’t used my orientation “training” thing yet. It comes free with a membership) but the Y was PACKED! I think I’ll try to avoid the after-work rush in the future.

Anyway, I am surprised I am not very sore this morning from the training last night. I alternated between legs, abs and arms… one exercise each until I got back around to the first one again. I needed to rest those muscles!

I liked the workout. I’d like to read more about strength training to make sure I am getting the most for my work.
