walk/run

I got on the treadmill for the first time since I started really learning how to run. It was definitely a different kind of running. I felt like the machine was doing all the work for me and I simply needed to “keep up.” It wasn’t easy… I switched my pace from 5.2 up to 5.5mph and then back and forth.

This was the first time I had “run” in about 3-4 weeks. It really was more of a walk/jog, but it was something.

I have to get myself back into it… I feel like I am starting from the beginning again. Ah well.

  1. I hear ya. I have had that happen to me time and time again. When you take a week or two off, or even more, it feels like starting from scratch. Although, it gets easier quicker than it did the very first time! :)
