I am back… I promise this time.

I’m tired. I’m grumpy. I’m overwhelmed.

THIS is haunting me in my dreams:

And…. I’m losing perspective.

SO — to help me gain perspective and to add some balance back into my life, I am getting back into the fitness thing. I will spend today finding a good triathlon training plan that both my sister and I can follow (together). Then I will put it into action!

Just want to let you all know I’ll be back in the swing of things… as soon as I can catch up on things here at work.

Oh… the funeral was miserable and my family is all still having a very hard time; I am going home (1/2 my family is in Northern VA, the other half in FL… home is Northern VA) next weekend to visit. But, I am happy to report I have one of the best families in the world and I know we will all pull through this. I was able to share some serious quality time with some of my favorite ladies during the trip, so that helped keep us all a little distracted. I am also planning a Christmas trip to FL to see them all again very soon.

I’ve missed you all though! I’ll be back in action starting TODAY!

  1. Welcome back! We’ve missed you too! Hmm… club wed… you’re turning into a bridezilla?? HEHHEHE :)

  2. Glad to hear you’re feeling better - I bet having a training plan or even just some regular physical stuff will really help with all you are dealing with right now. I know that when I was going through some REALLY awful times personally I would go to spinning class and spend the whole class really gocused on my pain, anger, and frustration - really getting it all out. I would be mumbling to myself all of the things that I wanted to say or wanted to get out of my head - and pedal as hard and fast as I could. By the time class was done I usually felt as though I had worked some of the tension off. Hope it works for you and hope that you don’t have TOO much tension to work off. You’ve already been through so much - time for peace! Best to you!

  3. Sorry to hear about all the family stuff. I’m glad that you are doing better though. Check out this 12 week triathlon plan designed for beginners. I think it might work well for you and your sister.

  4. Here there! I’m a blogfriend of MelBean’s…any idea where she went? Her blog is gone. I’ve been kinda taking a break from blogging and she disapeared….just wanted to make sure she was doing well.

    Congrats on your engagement!
