I was supposed to be relaxing

This morning I wanted to stretch. I need to stretch. My whole body is hungry for a good, long stretch… and a massage (luckily for me, Tommy is a great back massager). It’s been a while since I have really stretched. So… it went like this:
I went downstairs to do a 10-minute pilates flexibility video.
Well… Backtrack: the previous day I was a little eager to use my MP3 player for the really long run I had. I knew I would need it. And the battery was dead. So, I used my resources and took one out of the DVD remote control.
Okay, so, this morning the remote control didn’t work. (Uhh…) So I popped in the DVD and pressed play and just decided to see which workout came up first. Of course, it was the abs one. I thought “I haven’t done abs in a while, I’ll do it.” Then… butt/thighs. I thought “I can always use work in those areas, too, I’ll do it.” Then… arm scultping. I got about halfway through that one and decided that I wasn’t stretching at all and I didn’ thave time to do all 5 before the flex one came on so forget it.
So! I got some strength training in. And no flexibility. But I will do it tonight… I really have to.
