Pilates video
Woohoo check out my pie-chart colors over there! Hah, I’m such a dork.
I got up this morning and put in my pilates DVD. It’s one of those 10-minute solution workout videos, where each workout is only 10 minutes long. You can choose to do one at a time, all 6 workouts at once or actually design your own workout by picking and choosing the workouts.
I started with flex pilates, then went to abs, sculpting (arms), butt & thighs and then back to flex. I only did half of the last flex workout because I had to get up and get stuff done around the house before work. I also swept and mopped the kitchen floor and vaccumed the living rom, do those count as exercise? Just kidding.
The workout was discouraging… just recognizing that I am really NOT in shape at all. Flexibility is usually my strong point and I had to stick to all the beginner’s poses! I don’t think I have ever had to do that. And the abs workout kicked my butt, I could not do it all! But, the cool thing about pilates videos is that I can easily tell how much I’ve improved each time I do the workouts. I know next time I’ll feel a little better, and it’ll get easier with every workout.
I covered my three required workouts this week, next week I hope to do 4 or 5! ![]()

Just keep it up. You’ll get past blockers step by step. After those tough ab workouts, stretch your body long from toes to finger tips. i swear this helps keep the achin’ belly away!
(I believe housework is a a work out. Yuck!)
I hear ya, I love it when my pie chart gets colorful! I feel like I’ve accomplished so much!
did you ever get your BIM (bones in motion) working? I’ll help you set it up next time I think about while we are together.
